Shaping a dramatic golfing landscape from cut and fill
Enplan were engaged to create a new 18-hole golf course at Edgware with a luxury golf club and associated facilities.
All spoil from the formation of lakes was reused on site to contour the course, creating a varied, intense sports experience without exporting material.

The challenge
Creating a memorable course within engineering and planning limits
The course needed to feel dramatic and varied while working within earthworks, drainage and planning constraints.
Spoil management had to be efficient and environmentally responsible, avoiding unnecessary lorry movements.
